Fat Mike × MICA: Change+Makers

Have you heard of Dikke Mik yet? At least, that's what we call it—because on December 12, we're joining forces at MICA for a special edition:
November 20, 2025

In a creative world where trends, tools, and technology follow each other in rapid succession, one thing is clear: standing still is not an option. But what does the future really demand of creators, designers, and organizations?

That is why we are bringing two leading Change+Makers from the Randstad to Leeuwarden. Two thinkers and doers who are at the forefront of transition communication, brand strategy, and creative innovation.

Speaker 1 – Lotte Bloem (Momkai)

At the internationally recognized design agency Momkai, senior brand strategist Lotte Bloem works daily on brands that want more than just to sell—brands that want to initiate change.
From De Nieuwe Levensgenieter (Kom op tegen Kanker) to residents' collective CrowdBuilding, climate innovator SCW Systems, and European sports platform Golazo.

The common thread?
Building movements that inspire, connect, and activate people.
Think big, for the long term.

Momkai's work led to international crowdfunding records and praise from Queen Máxima, Jon Stewart, the founders of Wikipedia and Netflix, and even Barack Obama, among others.

At MICA, Lotte shares her vision on creativity, brand strategy, and transitions that matter.

Speaker 2 – Jeroen Disch (Halfvet)

“AI doesn't replace designers — it empowers them.”
That's the message Jeroen Disch has been sharing for years in talks, workshops, and training sessions for agencies, educational institutions, and creatives throughout the country.

Jeroen has nearly twenty years of experience as a designer and art director at GRRR/Norday and Bravoure, where he worked on projects for Doctors Without Borders, Awakenings Festival, Kröller-Müller Museum, Melkweg, and the Stedelijk Museum.

He also reaches thousands of designers through his newsletter Halfvet, a must-read for anyone who wants to stay ahead in the creative sector. He teaches at several educational institutions and knows exactly how creators can become stronger in an age of AI and digitization.

At MICA, he demonstrates how AI can actually unlock new creative power.
