Getting started with MICA lab

Students get to work for the MICA Lab
December 18, 2025

The MICA Lab for Transition Communication was launched in October 2025. In the lab, students from various communication and media programs will work together on issues related to current themes. We want to get companies, teachers, and students excited about this. And for that, we are looking for a creative concept.

On Thursday, January 29, and Friday, January 30, you will work with other students to develop creative concepts. On Thursday, you will receive the briefing, participate in brainstorming sessions, and talk to various stakeholders. On Friday, you will continue working on the concepts and develop rough prototypes that fit them. On Friday afternoon, you will pitch the whole concept to the MICA lab.

We are looking for surprising ideas to surprise our stakeholders. These can be creative, out-of-the-box, strange, surprising, challenging... Because we can do boring communication ourselves. You take on a role that matches your own learning goals and contribute to the concept based on your talents. And our coaches regularly join in to help you think things through.

📆 Thursday, January 29 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, January 30 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
