The MICA Talent Pool has officially launched and is growing rapidly. With more than 50 applicants so far and the first talents already actively involved, the talent pool is emerging as a key link between young creative talent, education, and regional projects in Fryslân.
Seven candidates were selected from the applications and immediately began working on real-world assignments. The next round of selection will take place on May 8, during which new candidates will participate in speed-dating sessions and job interviews to further expand the talent pool.
You can still sign up for the MICA Talent Pool at:

The first project from the talent pool has now begun. In collaboration with libraries in Friesland, students are organizing a series of AI hands-on evenings in Fryslân.
During these interactive sessions, students share their knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) in a practical and accessible way. Visitors get hands-on experience with AI tools and discover how they can apply AI in their daily lives and work.

In addition to the AI Workshop Evenings, talents from the MICA Talent Pool are now being deployed on several projects in the region, including SPARK the Movement, the Fryslân Education Agreement, Gastvrij Fryslân, and the June 30 / July 1 Committee (focused on young people). This gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience and make a direct contribution to social and creative issues.
The MICA Talent Pool combines talent development, practical experience, and regional collaboration. Students in creative vocational and higher vocational programs work on paid assignments, organizations gain access to young talent, and the region benefits from new ideas and innovation. As a result, the talent pool is becoming a valuable part of the creative ecosystem in the Northern Netherlands.
